Quiklyz partners BluSmart; to offer customized lease for 500 EVs
Quiklyz provides leasing services to EVs from auto majors like Mahindra, Tata Motors, Piaggio, and Mercedes-Benz
The electric vehicle scenario in India is on an uptrend and many payers on the terrain are doing the best possible to encourage e-mobility. Quiklyz, the vehicle leasing and subscription business of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL), is going a step further with this aim. Quiklyz provides leasing services to Electric 4W as well Electric 3Ws across OEMs, including Mahindra, Tata Motors, Piaggio, and Mercedes-Benz.
The company has tied-up with BluSmart Mobility, which incidentally is the country’s first and largest zero-emission ride-hailing service and platform. The agreement would have Quiklyz offering customized lease for up to 500 electric vehicles, which are to be deployed on BluSmart’s 100 percent electric vehicle fleet.
EVs to deployed un Delhi NCR
Initially these e-vehicles would be deployed in the Delhi NCR and would be used for the BluSmart all Electric ride hailing services plying currently in NCR through the BluSmart app.
BluSmart, which offers an all-electric fleet, would provide zero-ride denial, zero-surge and zero-tailpipe emission ride-hailing service to make mobility smarter and sustainable for a better future. The tie-up comes following realisation that the company would do with a partner who could create tailor-made financing structures, industry-best service levels. And, that is when it zeroed in on Quiklyz as partner
Quiklyz, which rides the path of providing innovative leasing solutions to popularize electric vehicles in India, considers being the leasing partner for BluSmart a major step as the company has already built a good fleet populated by electric vehicles.
Largest fleet of electric cabs
BluSmart Mobility has already made a name as the preferred mode of public transportation across Delhi NCR, and has completed more than one million all-electric trips. That means it has already done over 32 million clean kilometres with over 350,000 app downloads in the past year.
With a largest fleet of electric cabs in its portfolio, BluSmart Mobility also has the largest network of fast charging EV stations across the region. Besides, its large EV charging Superhubs that have been built to power its own electric vehicles fleet, has begun offering services to others too.
