From acting in movies to Television serials along with modelling for commercial ads to starting his own upscale lounge restaurant, Aquib Khan, who is touted as one of the busiest and multi-talented DJ in B-town has come a long way. Despite all odds Actor, Model, Entrepreneur, music producer, and DJ Aquib Khan believes in reinventing and bringing in new ideas to entertain people.
Aquib Khan is far from your average actor to being an entrepreneur turned DJ, having begun his career as an actor, Aquib Khan starred in the 2005 Bollywood flick Barsaat wherein he played the childhood role of Bobby Deol. There has been no looking back after that for young Aquib Khan.
Before finding fame on the small screen, Aquib Khan even did modelling for television commercials for Indian and international brands such as Nokia, Sprite, KFC, Ching’s tomato soup and many more. DJ Aquib Khan has also acted in television serials on popular TV channels Star plus and Sahara TV.
His Lounge Restaurant in Juhu named ‘Yeda Republic’ too is garnering huge popularity, prompting Aquib Khan to expand the business. With an expansion in mind, In March 2020 Aquib Khan is all set to launch Yeda Republic Beach Goa.
Simultaneously Aquib Khan also follows his passion and love for music. Aquib Khan has performed several successful gigs across Mumbai and other cities in India as a DJ.
Whether spinning surprise sets in B-town parties or thrilling thousands in the events to producing songs in the form of peppy remixes to trendy Mashups, Aquib Khan’s credibility as a DJ & selector is without question. Despite being a multi-talented DJ and trying his hands at acting and modeling, Aquib Khan didn’t settle down.
Aquib Khan today has a solo album and the series of mashups launched in 2019 to his name. However, he continues to follow the mantra of his life ‘keep reinventing and keep bringing in new ideas to entertain people.’
Started DJing just two years ago, Aquib Khan has already bagged the best DJ award at Mumbai achiever’s night 2019.
Multi-talented Aquib Khan made the crowd of over 900 people groove and dance on his numbers at one of the most happening and biggest Christmas bash of 2019 at Yeda Republic , Juhu.
He also played for the popular Boll boom New Year’s Eve 2020 held in Kolkata at Levels the Club. The event was touted as one of the biggest in the city where the crowd footfall was more than 2000. The gig at Kolkata had got the crowd on their feet.
Between these headline appearances at popular events held across India, Aquib Khan has also found time to produce original tracks, remixes and genre-spanning album projects in 2019
Aquib Khan’s tracks are today played and followed by renowned DJ’s and pubs across India. His original tracks like ‘Kala Joda, hit remixes like 5 Taara, Sauda Khara Khara, Slowly-Slowly and Kati Jeher among are creating a unique kind of buzz and phenomena in the Indian dance and music industry.
His remixed tracks are a rage even on the internet and social networking sites followed by youth across India. His unique style of mixing and the versatility in different genres of music is the strongest USP. Aquib Khan has been associated with many Bollywood music projects too.
