India’s present ‘Modi system’ needs to be shaken out of sleep, says Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi expressed that children will have to be protected from Coronavirus in the times to come
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted for protecting children against COVID-19 while criticizing the Modi government and wrote, “India’s future needs for the present Modi ‘system’ to be shaken out of sleep,” in both Hindi and English.
The Congress leader expressed that children will have to be protected from Coronavirus in the times to come. Pediatric health facilities and vaccine-treatment protocols should be ready from now, he alarmed.
Rahul Gandhi added that for the future of the country, it was necessary to wake up the present Modi ‘system’ from sleep.
“In the time to come, children will need protection from Corona. Paediatric services and vaccine-treatment protocol should already be in place. India’s future needs for the present Modi ‘system’ to be shaken out of sleep,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
He later posted the same tweet in Hindi as well.
It is in place to mention here that Rahul Gandhi has been making some of the most scathing attacks on the Modi government as the country’s health care is facing a crisis situation due to the resurgence of COVID-19.
On Sunday, May 16, he tweeted a poster criticizing the Modi government and wrote, “Arrest Me Too”. The former Congress president’s tweet was in response to the Delhi Police arresting people for sticking posters critical of the Modi government’s policy to send vaccines abroad before vaccinating Indian citizens.
Pertinently, there is increasing fear that a third wave of infections will reach India between October and December this year, as vaccination rates slow and COVID-19 resurfaces.
Experts opine that there is clear evidence that children will be the hardest affected, which may result in egregious scenes unless the country scales up pediatric healthcare infrastructure.
