Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and Member of Parliament, on Wednesday, targeted the Central government over the Foreign and Defense policy of the country.
“Modi government has weakened our country by making foreign and defense policy a national political gimmick,” the Congress leader said, adding, “India has never been so insecure.”
Rahul Gandhi said that the Government of India’s use of Foreign and Defense policy as a domestic political tool has weakened our country.
In a tweet in Hindi, he said that the country has never been this vulnerable.
Rahul posted the comments on his official Twitter handle while quoting a news story about Indo-Chinese clashes.
According to the reports, Chinese troops have again crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh at several places. And, there has been at least one clash between the two sides.
“The altercation allegedly took place on the Galwan River, close to where 20 Indian soldiers were killed on June 15 last year. It is not known whether any casualties occurred this time,” the report by journalist Ajai Shukla said.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army has denied that any clash took place, the report added.
