Calling the Noida International Airport, in the Jewar area of the state, as the ‘new flight’ of ‘new Uttar Pradesh’, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that despite the Coronavirus pandemic, the work of Jewar Airport is progressing in a time-bound manner.

“‘New Uttar Pradesh’s new flight’… in relation to the Noida International Airport of Jewar, Gautam Budh Nagar…,” the Uttar Pradesh CM tweeted.

Despite the Corona pandemic, the work of Jewar Airport is progressing in a time-bound manner, according to Yogi Adityanath.

“From the point of view of the development of the state, this airport will not only prove to be a milestone for the people of the state, but the air connectivity will be better as per the intention of the Prime Minister,” Mr. Yogi said.

Jewar Airport is a great medium to pursue all the possibilities of the future of the state, as per the CM Yogi. “I am confident that this airport will become the best destination to give a new flight to the resolutions of Uttar Pradesh’s 1 trillion-dollar economy by the year 2024.”

Yogi Adityanath further said, “There has been a lot of development in the field of civil aviation in the last four years. Till 2017, only four airports were functional with limited air service to only 25 destinations within the state. Today, eight airports are functional in the state with connectivity to 71 destinations.”

The chief minister also said that the work of Kushinagar airport has been completed, which is available for international flights.

“In the midst of the Corona pandemic, the state government has continued development projects along with keeping the lives and livelihoods of the people safe,” Mr. Yogi Adityanath claimed.
