Mahila Sarpanch of Rewa has properties worth Rs 11 crores, Lokayukta Police, M.P

The raid also revealed that Ms Sudha had more than 36 plots in different cities.

The Baijnath Gram Panchayat woman Sarpanch, Sudha Singh’s residence, was raided by the Lokayukta Police and properties far more than earnings were recovered. Properties over Rs 11 crores have been recovered from Ms Sudha’s house.

The Lokayukta Team raided Ms Sudha Singh’s residence at 4:00 in the morning. Two teams of more than 40 members raided the house. Lokayukta police SP Rewa told ANI that the value of the seizures could be higher as more details are coming in.

The Lokayukta team was amazed after seeing the opulence and luxury of the house of Ms Sudha Singh, which was spread over an area of one acre and also had a built-in swimming pool and a convoy of more than 30 luxury vehicles.

The raid also revealed that Ms Sudha had more than 36 plots in different cities. The value of the two houses of the sarpanch is estimated to be above 3.5 crores. The raid revealed all property worth 80 lakhs, Gold and Silver ornaments worth 20 lakhs, bank deposits and Life Insurance policies worth 12 lakhs, cash worth 3.5 lakhs.

Ms Sudha Singh also owns two crushers, a mixer machine, and brick making machine. 

Sources revealed that Sudha Sing became the Sarpanch of Baijnath Gram in 2015. She got into the mining and construction business. She started two crushers under the name of Ma Kalika Minerals. She also supplied limestone locally through the Janapad she headed. She also owns 30 vehicles, including Chain Mount, JCB, Haiwa, Loader, Tractor, Innova, and Scorpio luxury SUVs.
