Suicide bomber Adil Dar was appearing for Class 12 exams, never returned from Jammu, says father Ghulam Dar

Jammu And Kashmir, February 15, 2019–

Ghulam Dar, father of suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar, who targeted a CRPF convoy in Pulwama on Thursday, had no clue about his son’s terror activities and came to know of his suicide mission from the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

India Today TV has accessed an exclusive video of Ghulam Dar, father of slain suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar, in which the disturbed father says, “He was about to appear for his Class 12 examinations. He went to Jammu and never returned.”

When asked if he had any idea about what his young son was up to, the Kashmiri said, “I had no idea about his terror activities.”

The family grieved their son’s death though Adil Ahmad Dar’s body could not be found at the blast site after he rammed his explosive-laden SUV into a CRPF bus. His car was packed with 300 kg explosives, which ripped apart both the car and the CRPF bus, leaving only a molten mound of metal on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

Body parts and bloodstains created a ghastly sight on the Awantipora stretch of the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Thursday with security and rescue officials using gallons of water to wash them away.

40 CRPF jawans were killed in Thursday’s terror attack, one of the deadliest in the strife-torn state till date.

Adil Ahmad Dar rammed his SUV into one of the CRPF buses that were part of the 78-vehicle convoy and killed 40 of its occupants so far.

Soon after the attack was carried out, Jaish-e-Mohammed released a video of suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar saying he will be in “Jannat” by the time the video is out. The video was shot before Adil Dar carried out the shocking terror attack on Thursday.
