Bhupesh Baghel, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh, on Monday, congratulated the people of the state for Rath Yatra while expressing that the Yatra is a symbol of cultural unity and harmony.
As per a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, Bhupesh Baghel congratulated the people of the state for the Rath Yatra and prayed to Lord Jagannath for the happiness, prosperity, and prosperity of all citizens on this occasion.
Mr. Baghel, in his congratulatory message, said that since ancient times, the people of Chhattisgarh have had deep faith in Lord Jagannath. “Every year, the devotees conduct the Rath Yatra with Lord Jagannath, his brother Balbhadra and sister Devi Subhadra with devotion,” the statement said.
The Chief Minister said that this Rath Yatra, which comes together across India, including Mahaprabhu Jagannath’s Dham Puri, is a symbol of cultural unity and harmony.
The CM further said that the impact of Coronavirus in the state has decreased, but the danger has not yet been avoided, so everyone should maintain awareness and security.
“Follow the guidelines issued to prevent Corona infection like the use of face masks, physical distancing,” he advised the people of the state.
